About t!His
By WHYDavidt!His youth group (formerly known as ?WHY) is for all teens in the DeKalb/Sycamore, IL area.
?WHY stood for We’re His Youth. Our logo began with a “?” because we believe it is important to respect the fact that a lot of teens are struggling with tough issues in their lives and need to be able to ask questions they might be afraid of asking. Questions are the way to find answers. Teens should be free to ask anything and their questions should be treated with respect. We’re here to do that!
t!His stands for totally!His. Even though we have changed our name, we have not changed our attitude toward questions!
We don’t try to shove God down anyone’s throat. We do talk about God, we pray and we look for ways to grow closer to God, but we don’t try to manipulate or “push” people to accept our faith. We also have fun! Some of our teens aren’t all that interested in God and come mostly for the fun and the friendship. That’s ok with us!
Teens don’t have to act a certain way or follow certain rules to be part of t!His. We’ll accept you as you are.
